SnappyCast was a start-up company that was an easier communication platform for school districts. SnappyCast was an instant communication app that let all school officials instantly communicate with all students and parents in both a specific school or district. A big feature that this app different from others was its emergency features. The app had an emergency function that allowed a teacher or student to alert an emergency and the app was able to determine the exact location of the devices even inside of a building.
In 2018 the company sold the ideas and apps to a big competitor.
My job was to both build a website that was easy for kids, parents, and teachers to use and able to attract new customers (school districts) by looking professional. I first designed a mock-up design for the company and developed the website for them. I also helped code and design some of the front end development for the mobile app.
